It’s painful. The idea’s are great but the writing is dreadful and it’s far too slow. Someone came desperately needing to talk to the main character about something really urgent but there’s a digression about how two other characters used to date and then the lead character says she’s too tired and sends everyone away promising to talk later. What was the point of this entire scene?!
