Struggling with this one. Not bad but not good, either. Library loan expired, so I'll borrow it again and try to finish it only because so many people like this series.

This series has been recommended to me many times, but OMG can the title be any more embarrassing to put on my Goodreads? Lol

I've forgotten how overly much the phrases "let alone" and "not least" are used, often incorrectly. I have an old edition so maybe this book has been edited since it's release? On a good note, I forgot how much I LOVE Jask!

Now some claims Niall soaked the grind with magic before he left for Fairy and that's why the plants flourish. This was never mentioned and before, Sookie was wondering why the plants were growing so well.

Another inconsistency: Sookie claims she can look into Jason's head of she wants to know if he's telling the truth, but after her was turned she said she couldn't anymore.

Only on chapter 1 and already the storyline is stupid and there are inconsistencies. Sam tells some he can shape shift into any animal by looking at picture and she says she didn't know that. But she did, from like book 3! Ugh.

finally some action, Evie was so self-involved it was getting on my nerves

This is so ridiculous and strange

not sure about this one. character's dialogue is confusing because we don't know their personalities or relationship yet. So banter between two girls makes no sense. who uses their tuition money for a doll? Kendra is not impressing me...

Of course, Feyre took the deal with Rhysand. I'd rather she died doing something noble than make another bad choice. Dumbest female lead ever...

And just like that, Nesta is a good person and has been redeemed? how convenient...

And here comes the predictable romance between the misunderstood, brooding hero and the underestimated girl *rolling eyes*

stupid plot so far. heroine is absurdly immature for someone who supposedly had to grow up and provide for her family. the "tension building" between feyre and tamlin is so transparent and boring.

Not feeling any of these characters yet. Feyre had potential, but she's quickly becoming predictable.

hanging in there, not bad but still hard to get into, going everything is set up and now the juicy stuff will happen

I'm having a horrible time getting into this book! There are so many good reviews, so I'll keep reading.
