Kathleen is on page 38 of 608 of The Rational Bible: Genesis
Those who show mercy to the cruel end up being cruel to those who deserve mercy. If mercy was extended to all murders, their victims and the victims loved ones would suffer a terrible injustice. If everyone knew they would receive only mercy , not justice, no matter what crimes they committed, the amount of crime in society would increase exponentially. Page 32

Yeah, book club met last night so I feel that I can stop forcing myself to finish this book. Reading this book was definitely a chore.

I am starting chapter five and struggling to get into this book. So far this is not holding my interest and I find my mind wondering while trying to read. Ugh, I will keep pushing on.

I am really struggling to get through this book. This books highlights the woman's movement starting with the 60's. it should be interesting but I find her writing style dry and lacking. I wish I could recommend this book to others since the topics covered are so relevant to woman past, present and future. This will be a lively discussion on Monday and i'm looking forward to my book club meeting.

I just started reading this book last night and had a hard time putting it down. I found the differences between war time in 1945 compared to 2013. We have information almost instantanious compared to the delivery of mail and news just 68 years ago. I can't wait to finish this book to see how they get out of the jungle.
