It's going really fast, but I'm actually really enjoying this book. And now they've hit a bunch of stuff that really feels relevant and poignant to me. So that makes me enjoy it even more.

I'm warming up to it

I thought the generated voice would be thematic, but it's really just off-putting.

Wow, what a twist. I don't know that I like it, but I definitely didn't see it coming.
I guess it kind of explains some things about why things turned out the way they did. But I feel like it really does undermine some of the things that I liked about the book from the perspective earlier. Also, it makes me even more frustrated with Henry's chapters.

Just as it all starts to come together, it starts to come apart

I know that the contrast and backstory of "5 years ago" is necessary for the book to function, but I can't stand Henry's narrator.

Eh. It's a bit interesting, but I'm not that into it.

I kind of like this emerging storyline of Grace taking advantage of trends and knowledge that she has from five years in the future and trying to leverage that to get ahead. I'm interested to see what happens with it.

I really don't know if it's the narration or something about the perspective we get in the Henry chapters, but I really dislike them. This always seems to happen whenever I read one of these novels with alternating perspectives between the two love interests. The female perspective I enjoy and the male perspective drives me barmy.

It's getting better again. I much prefer Grace's chapters, as usual.

I never updated my progress last week

It's been 7 years, I remember nothing so I'm just starting again.

I think I'm just going to give up. I really don't care. I'm not engaged. All the flowery language is really frustrating. I'm sick of it.
