Wanted to read this for improving my Spanish but it's a bit spicier than what I wanted to read.

Do people still use Goodreads as social platform? I still update my books but I have noticed that there are few if any interactions anymore with anyone.

If I am understanding this correctly, is this book just going to be about the absurdity of people who live in their own worlds? I don't know if it's my interpretation from the Spanish but that's what I feel.

Has anyone read this that can tell me if I am understanding it correctly?

I think I need to read the first two chapters again because I think I am missing something important. I can't remember how our narrator met the little prince or even who he is. lol

I wonder if I will ever finish this book. It's so full of info but it's a pain to just read. Still useful and I sometimes I use it daily, at least bi-weekly.

I slowed down on Grammar as it was getting tedious without showing any gains. One lesson can take me between 1-2 hours to write and mark since I have been using my left hand exclusively while also practicing calligraphy. Started up again recently and it's been fantastic, still takes long but I can feel my accomplishments with every new word deduced and every mistake spun into grammar flash cards(additional time).

At this point I am nine months into my language learning journey and 4-5 months into the Fluent Forever portion of it. I now daily watch Spanish language content at an intermediate to advanced level. I just finished the Epilogue and there is still half a book left though.

I've done a lot of these quite a bit of these words already but building a strong vocabulary requires overlapping for context and subtlety.

Getting tedious and I have lost a bit of drive to continue but I don't want to stop. I need a reset then I will get back to this.

I am a little bit annoyed with the steps outlined. As I am certain I've been told all the steps in every chapter but just enough info to surmise but not be certain that I am doing thing in the correct order. I would have liked a bit more clarity in the preceding chapters. As is I have incorrectly done one step but not badly just insufficiently.

Not really vibing with these stories. The learing aspect is okay but the stories are boring as hell and lack life.

The easy stuff is out of the way and I'm starting to have more incorrect answers but I knew this would happen going in. Using the incorrect answers to build more grammar cards which should theoretically help me? :shrugs

I started this before and thought it was too simple but now I realise, that was just the tip of the iceberg. In this for the long haul.

With roughly two pages per chapter an 114 chapters left, at two chapters a day I should be finished in roughly two months. Wish me luck.

Onto the next step, I had fun building out my flashcards. Now I have to start building new ones from grammar examples. Once I do a few I am sure it will be as intuitive as the first set which were tedious at first and then I was doing dozens per day. I could do then faster but I like my cards to be aesthetically pleasing, and that adds time.

Small chapters and a methodical but vaguely interesting story. Like who would just invite an art history student and her friend to investigate your home the day after it was robbed of two pricesless works of art?

The conversations are just odd, not one single staff member was upset at being questioned by some strangers. They track down a supect, sit across from them, then ask but never attempt to see who they are?!

Started building out the infrastructure with Anki and created a pronuounciation list and mininal pairs. Now going to build out my "first" (quite far in Duolingo B2) 100 words, I can already see the difference in my pronunciation as I was making some seemingly minor but altogether bad mistakes in some words. Feeling and hearing the initial change in my speech is thrilling. Can't wait to see what the rest brings.

Liking the capitals except for the H and D so far. The H is just it needs practice to get the line angles correct. The D has long counterclockwise stroke that is a little awkward for a leftie but the line is cleaner and less abrupt than the previous capitals I'd learned.

I also don't like the common r, it's an abberation from smooth lines with minimal edges to one with three edges in close proximity. Qué mal.

Janelle she is basically a god, sure she is vulnerable at times but every bad thing that happens to her or people around her was a mistake she had already made and never learned from. Same goes for almost every character. ML's are basically the same people motivations.

Three quaters of this series so far has been taken up by characters finding out a single piece of information and then immeadiately thereafter shutting down all brain function.

Still not loving the capitals, they just clunky, the lowercase I can write out a-z without lifting my pen expect to dot some letters and cross t and x and it's so fluid. The capitals, just huge blocks that don't flow into almost any lowercase character, with a few exceptions. Plust they aren't very beautiful, compared to the lowercase. I will have to find a replacement for the uppercases.

I get you need to add tension but always allowing these bonehead mistakes is insufferable. How many times are you going to hang this girl out to dry on the basis of your honour. Either look out for her or don't.

I've now been writing with my left hand exclusively, since the beggining of this year. I've used it on and off for years but the fluidity of my right always drew me back. This workbook although elementary, has improved my fluidity. I finished the lowercase and now I am starting uppcase. I was content with the style of the lowercase letters but the uppercase is leaving me a bit underwhelmed.
