I was really disappointed with this book. I thought it would be more about the doctors connections to the pharmaceutical industry but it was not. The main focus of the book was diet with a heavy push toward keto/carnivore. This would have been fine if the author backed his claims up with some evidence however he did not. Instead he tells the reader to ask their doctor for proof. He offers no references as proof.

Listened on audible. Even though I am not a huge fan of King's writing style I thought this book was great. I couldn't wait to get in the car and drive so that I could listen and on nights when I couldnt sleep, I would plug my headphones in and hit play.

Not exactly what I was expecting. It is short but is mostly about the days of war with Mexicans.

My copy has 1008 pages so I'm not quite half done. Putting the computer away so I can go back to reading. Need a weekend to do nothing but read.

Could not get into this story so I set it aside for the time being.

I was already familiar with the main characters and Catherine made me feel I was just doing some catching up. Two different plots to follow keep me on my toes through the whole book. I loved the twist at the end. Never saw it coming.
