Still struggling through it. It’s mostly, wah, wah, wah…. With an underlying tone of pity poor, poor me. I think the title says it all, and the rambler is one of subtle resentment.

I have read about 100 pages of the book and I find it to be rambling, and very disjointed with an abrupt style of conveyance. Most chapters leave you wondering how some events were resolved. I really have looked forward to reading this book, but as I am reading it, I am wondering what all the hype was about. I am hoping it gets better, or it may become one of my DNF.

I dedicate the reading of this book to my mother, who passed away last Sunday. She, more than anyone, instilled in me a love of reading. We always had a large, comprehensive and magical library at home. Thank you Mom.
