While I’m determined not to give up in this book, we are now talking about fiber and fabrics. I have NEVER heard the term semi-synthetic used to describe the class of fibers legally know as *artificial*, a globally defined term.
But where she really just lost me is under synthetic she listed “microfiber”. Just no.
Oh and poor sentence construction made it sound like linen is the only bast fiber. SMH.

I thought I’d start reading this for some lighter content, a break from more analytical texts and at this present juncture I’ve managed not to hurl it across the room.
Don’t talk about corsets if you’re just going to perpetuate myths and misinformation. Stays are not corsets. Not all, or even most, corsets require someone else to lace them. Walebone isn’t bone, it’s baleen which is flexible!!!

Reading on Manga Go as its being serialized. The wait is killing me...!
