As I listen to this book it’s a bit underwhelming…. I’m tempted to abandon it, but will continue on for completionism.

Hannah is 15% done with Marriage and the Family in the Middle Ages: A Compelling Social History of Medieval Life, Women, and Children in Europe
Understanding of Christianity and the Old and New Testaments is rudimentary. The author of Chapter 2 makes the analysis that in the Old Testament that in relations between man and woman they are more encouraged to engage in intimacy and it is glorified and that in the New Testament it is more looked down upon and virginity is glorified over marriage.

Lacks an accurate and nuanced understanding of Scripture.
