I’m so glad I listened to this book rather than reading it. The imagery written by the author was vividly brought to life by the narrators voices.

Engrossing. It caught my attention in the first few pages and has not let go.

This is not even close to what I thought the story line would be. Could be wrong for me to assume, but the actual Gown is a side story line, marginally told, while the difficulty of a Jewish woman takes center stage. The story line itself may be fine, but it’s a disappointment to what I thought would involve more of the story of the gown itself.

Potentially one of the best books I’ve read this year. Thank you to the stranger that recommended it.

This book immediately pulled me in.

This is my audiobook selection. Seems well done so far.

I’m not impressed.

The vocabulary is stunning. The plot so far is dry and boring. There’s so much world building going on, but I don’t really see the hype behind it.
