Again, this is a primer to use as you are reading Dutch. While it is a good idea to read through it quickly, it is better for use as a quick explanation as learning. I'm currently learning Dutch and find it generally easy since I speak German. This is particularly true of grammar. I like how "het" words line up with "das" in German as definite articles.

Not the best writing. Had to re-read to try to pick up what the author was saying numerous times.
There is enormous detail in this book. I like how he doesn't try to psychoanalyze Stalin and largely dismiss those who have.
