I have rarely wanted to fight anybody's mama, but gimme 5 minutes in a ring with Julian's. I want him to cuss her out so bad.

So far so good. Not much angst and when it does arrive everyone acts like big boys.

Possibly the most enjoyable voice acting I've heard in a while.

Not as romantically over the top as Grey's, yet not as romantically depressing as E.R./New Amsterdam. Also, not a spoiler, Simon is a K-pop fan specifically an SM fan and Jonghyun makes a cameo so guard your heart if you need to.

Okay, I think this book might effectively push Walker into my all time favorite writers lists, and that's across genres. A reclusive man falling for an android. Also, I feel less and less ashamed of permanently unplugging my Alexa🤣🤣. There is a running theme with her books that I have read. My heart aches every time I read. It's okay, I liken it to...cardio; my heart gets stronger with every read.

I'm slowing my reading because I really don't want it to end.

If his memoir is gutting me so quickly, how do his novels stack up? Another jewel in the Iowa Writer's Workshop crown.

I am breathless. We're five chapters in, FIVE. Rand is 'bout ready to kill me. So ready, so sure. Stef, don't fight it boo.

This was a cute ass story. Now I really want to see the movie.

Also...If you play Otis Redding's Try A Little Tenderness when it's mentioned it frames the next few pages perfectly.

So far key things I've learned are
1. write the damn thing.
2. Grammar and dialog are make or break.
3. You're damned if you do and don't so by all means do, but do it well.

So far, I've learned that the man responsible for so many nightmares is actually very funny. Also, that this writing thing does not come easy and must be exercised every waking moment.

Pretty much cried my way through this book.
