for a feminist novel this book sure does have a lot of fun by putting down other women in order to build up the mc

crazy that this book (LOUDLY) calls itself feminist, but is participating in a healthy hand of misogyny. i'm really not going to write it off yet, because I actually do have hope that it will show itself as a brilliant satire, and even if it doesn't, it will be fun to boo at

so... here's the deal. the whole "he's definitely a murderer, i know bc i listen to true crime" thing would work if he WASN'T a killer. and sure, it will probably be a twist that "he's not a killer at all!! it was all a big misunderstanding" which will be incredibly predictable, or it will be "he's not a killer! she is!" and that will be less predictable but maybe more trite and if ur wondering why im reading this...

sorry, but authors truly need to stop using "you" in internal monologue. who the fuck is the "you" in this case? the easiest way to break immersion is by breaking the fourth wall, especially for no good reason. "i know what you're thinking" you know what WHO is thinking?? I am not a character in this book! shitty ass writing

authors should learn how to write exposition without just writing "this is my name and my backstory and this is how i real about it" in a series of paragraphs. that would be cool i think
