Comfortable novel! Relatable main character who lives a 8-5, with normal co-workers and job tasks; an interesting subject of work made to seem mundane. So European haha. Intrigued to see how the plots begins to outline itself and watch the characters interact and learn more about each other.

Up tothe chapter w Farmer Maggot today- realized for the first time he is a hobbit! Hes a decent fellow- sensible, funny & has character but isn't in anyone's business an unreasonable amount. Selfless dude but intensely protective. I like him! Frodo's thoughts of Maggot r so human haha!

I forgot how much I like the countryside descriptions of this book. Its so comfortable to read.

i'm on chapter 12, and man. I cry every time I read it.

So I am reading this book, and I stopped because of all the feels, but I feel like I should finish it since I'm so near the end.
