I’m excited to read a fantasy/ magical realism novel set in Singapore and that it made a Good Reads challenge is even more amazing. Go little Red Dot!

Such a easy enjoyable read. A bit sad it wasn’t a super duper happy ending but maybe more realistic for a fantasy story. Enjoyable nevertheless!

So glad I read wild reverence first. Took awhile to get invested but when I crossed the line I was all in such annoyance read despite the death and war. I wasn’t prepared for the ending though.

I love a good audio book!

Interesting so far. But the narrator’s over the top French accent is killing the story for me. If she would just either keep the fake French accent throughout or drop it completely it would mostly likely improve the story. I’ve read two other books since starting this books because the narration is so annoying.
