I'd be really curious to know why design decisions were made in this adaption. I feel like it wouldn't have been hard to add more small details to call back to the novel even when they aren't addressed in the text (eg, Gansey's mint plant). But I think Milledge's versions of the raven boys themselves (Blue included) at least are spot-on, and that's perhaps the most important. They were a fabulous choice for artist!

WOW I forgot how much fun this world & characters are! I missed them ♡

Perhaps it just speaks to not personally knowing any Jewish people/folks who speak Yiddish, but the prose in this is incredible. It also paints a fascinating alternate history post-WWII. However, it's a sad and difficult story, kind of tough to want to read especially when the real world is so much these days. Had to return loan to library at 45%- we'll see if I DNF when my hold comes up again.
