Soo is reading Go Set a Watchman

My point of view for reading this book is that this is the real book that Harper Lee wrote and couldn't get published. The fictional rewrite is idolised by millions of people and she never wrote another book. I am honoured to have the opportunity to read her original book and to RESPECT her personal courage for writing it, at the time she did. I would rather be hurt by the truth than comforted by a lie!

I love a good story and I especially like good stories by the many writers I have found on this site. I haven't been reviewing many books over the past year; using a smart phone it became more complicated and I became lazy.

Just finished this and it was brilliant! A real page turner and, for me, a novel twist in the vampire genre. I have, over the years, become rather bored with vampires but this book surprised me.

Brilliant read...romance isn't my thing but this had just the right amount for me and not the soppy kind. The whole concept was refreshing and the writing style was smooth. I love a story that makes me wish it would never end and this is definitely one.
