We love a plot within a plot

I am quickly realizing that this is going to be a very hard read because of the names. The ones who get it, get it.

I went through this whole book not catching that Marcus is blond in the books and I’m not changing my mental image this late in the game so he is going to have to stay looking like Edward Bluemel. I don’t make the rules.
