There's a good story in there, but why does it feel like a romance novel instead of a mystery? I'm getting tired of comments about women's body parts, and men's hair. It's ruining what could be a pretty good book.
I'm only a 1/3 of the way through it, but it's become a bit nauseating to read.
Life is too short to read bad books.
I can not recommend this book.

I had to stop. It's just too stupid. If I wanted to read porn I would have gotten an appropriate book. This is just not what I was expecting, I was expecting better.
Disappointing.

It reads like a smut novel. It's not very intelligent or interesting at this point. I love her other books, but the last 2 books, this and Crescent City have been disappointing, to the point where I start to doubt why I ever read them to begin with.

Working my way thru, a good story, but I find i'm bored..

Cant seem to get into it like I did with the previous books.

Though not a bad story, the way its written has me checking the cover to make sure its not a YA novel. Actually most YA novels I read are more intelligent than this. Too much holding, stroking, touching, crushing, jealousy, amongst the zombie slaying. It should and could be better. Im trying to ignore all the fluffy stuff and focus on the action.

Seems like a good story line, but Im distracted by the somewhat "romance language" of the author. Why are the women constantly touching each other, hold hands and stroking each others hair? Why does she talk about her long raven tresses and her glowing cat like eyes? I want a Zombie story. Not this goofy stuff. Ill give it 2 more chapters and make my decision.
