I have misplaced this (library!!!) book and haven't seen it in over a week. I am so distraught not only because it isn't MINE but because I desperately need to know the rest of the story!!! sdlfjas;dlhfasjh Please send me some good luck in finding it, I've looked absolutely everywhere and am at a loss.

At 60%, this book goes from being a normal, somewhat boring retelling of Beauty and the Beast to WTAFIH and I'm trying this read to actually pay attention because I want to be on the acotar train with everyone else haha

I'm getting pretty tired of all the sexist comments from this 13 year old 🙄 girls aren't weaker than boys and I'm sick of seeing it in books for impressionable kids.

Enjoying this arc I got from yallfest quite a lot! Shuri is one of my favorite Marvel characters, and so far Nic Stone has captured her sassiness very well!

Got to chapter 20/ page 225. It's amping up! It's a very good read so far

Well that's awesome, I just read 140 pages in one sitting, so I guess you could say this book has my attention!

Boxer-briefs. Who calls them that anyway? I checked, and it's used 19 times in the book. I wonder if the authors used the 11+hyphen letters to extend their word count.

"Sharp cheekbones" is another phrase that is used far too often. I'm enjoying this book but the frequency of these phrases is decreasing my immersion.

Just lucked out today and was given an arc of Kingdom of Souls by Epic Reads! Really interesting prologue so far! Thanks, Epic Reads!

Okay, I've made it past page 106 where I stopped last year. I can't for the life of me understand why I put this book down. It's fast paced, interesting, mysterious. I'm looking forward to reading the rest, hopefully this week!
