Wait. WAIT. She wants to have a kid, she's worried it's too late. They talk about it like she's in her late 40s. Then she says she's 33?!?!

What the HelloFresh was that scene?! Does any couple interact like that? Also Adam is a talking libido, not a real person.

The time has come to revisit one of my favorites, Crime and Punishment. Unfortunately I picked an audio version with a terrible narrator (he does not enunciate well). The solution? Have my Russian-language edition at hand to look up whatever I didn't quite catch. Good practice.

Re-listening with my bub because I remember it being great, and it's just as good the second time around. Shame that you can't get it on Audible anymore.

I am once again asking you NOT to play music in the background while the narrator is telling the story. 😤

I haven't liked Alba's chapters much to begin with, but this sex scene is the worst. Gag.

One thing I appreciate about this book is how it illuminates not only the band members but also the music itself. It gives me a new appreciation for songs I've heard a hundred times.

It started strong, but all these astrology bits and other reflections are very boring.
