So annoying, my Kindle disappeared somewhere in the house just as I had started reading this!

Quite a different experience from Emily Wilson’s translation of The Iliad. Fry begins with the backstory and injects a bit of humor now and then.

I’ll come back to this at some point because I like Ryan’s writing, but I miss her series books. It seems that the psychological thriller is what publishers (and lots of readers) want now, but it’s just not my favorite genre.

Somehow I opened this book but I’m not actually going to read it till closer to Christmas.
