Lin Yutang is a brilliant polymath, traversing cultures and history. A 57 yo Chinese living in the West, it felt like he knows me better than I know myself, unraveling little mysteries frolicking right under my nose but out of my sight. I am taking Rolf Dobelli’s advice to read a good book twice, this time round, with ChatGpt by my side to decode historical names and events quoted in the book. A solid 5 Stars.

So much to unpack in the book. I re-read the book back to back 3 times. A record.
