Isabel Hodges is 50% done with The Ruin of All Witches: Life and Death in the New World
An interesting topic but honestly I’m finding it a bit dull. I thought being written as a story would make it an easier read, I was wrong. The sheer amount of names alone makes it difficult to remember who is who, and there’s a lot of context and information to take in. All that being said, it’s a fascinating insight into British settlers in New England, their communities, and of course the witches.

Nothing personal to this book, because it’s a decent romantasy but I need to read something that isn’t smut or smut-adjacent. FML.

Stupidly started listening to this without realising it’s the second in a series so I’ve played catch up throughout. The voice acting is brilliant, I’m not sure how I’d feel about the physical book.

In love with this book so far, one of the best things I’ve read in ages so hoping the second half doesn’t let me down!

Half way through, still non the wiser what’s happening but I think that’s the point. It’s like a very weird dream.

A pacy thriller this is not. It’s a decent insight into mountain climbing with a hint of mystery, well written but wasn’t what I was expecting.
