Its a real bummer when you win an ARC, but don't receive it until a week and a half after the book drops /:

Hey Dani I just read "hot jalapeno rage" and even now that I'm reading it in context I still almost spit out my water at the ridiculousness XD

I've seen Vaughan's name floating around for a while now, but this is my first taste of his work.
I've gotta say, I'm in love with the breast-feeding momma on the cover. I'm all about feeding your baby however works for you, but a lot of media shies away from breastfeeding so this momma in her power pose with a baby and a pistol is AMAZING.

The light-hearted tone and comedy remind me of Douglas Adams' work, but toned down a few steps from the absolute insanity of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I love it!

I can tell right now this is gonna be one of my most entertaining reads of the year.

I went two weeks without listening to this book once, I still don't care about any of the characters, and honestly I don't think I could tell you what's happened. This is my second attempt at listening to this book so I'm calling it. I don't know what key piece is missing, but this book just isn't for me.

I'm diggin' it! I LOVED Snyder's Inside Out/Outside In books so I had high hopes for this series and its panning out well.

I DNF'ed this book a few years ago and I'm giving it another shot. So far I'm enjoying it more than last time, but its still barely more than alright to me.

So many twisty twists. Sanderson never fails to deliver! I just wish these books were in the Cosmere

Honestly, the fact that this didn't win a GR Choice Award is pretty soul-crushing. I'm listening to it for the second time and it still hits me so hard. I've cried twice, despite knowing full well what happens. Its the final book of Weeks' magnum opus and I wish more people knew about it.

STRUGGLING. I don't know why I'm not enjoying this one as much as the first. I'm giving it until 25% and if I'm still not into it I give up. There are so many books I know I'll enjoy, I don't wanna waste time feeling crappy about this one.

I'm struggling.
I read the first book a while ago, so I don't remember it very well. I know I liked it, and I read a couple summaries to try to refresh my memory (which is literal garbage) but I'm having a hard time and its really taking me out of the story. I hope I can get it together and start enjoying soon.
