Nice to read the conclusion of the Owens Family. I liked the two prequels more than Practical Magic and The Book of Magic.

Absolutely delightful book. Nora and Libby are very close sisters but very different people.

Good so far. No details of what the story is about aside from it focusing on Win. Win is not a particularly likable character.

I always listen to Cotton Malone books and when I read I hear Scott Bricks voice.

Liked the book but too long. Found the music between chapters and when stories are told annoying. The narrator was excellent.

Thought clever how the author tied together lots of nursery rhymes and fairy tales to magic spells.

Math doesn’t always add up. Mia is 13. Once said 9 years old and that was five years ago. So thats 14.

Did we really need to hear about a teenagers masturbation?

Reading chapter one and it feels like I am studying vocabulary for the SATs: demimonde, talus,

DNF at 10%. Couldn’t get into the rhythm of the audiobook. Will try to go back and listen in the future.

Not what I was expecting at all. Deeply raw and personal. Anonymous put herself out there completely. Like Roxane Gay in Hunger.

Interesting premise. So much more going on than the blurb lets on. Weird to be reading a book about a deadly flu while living thru a pandemic. I just hope we all don’t start hearing voices.

Didn’t realize Christian book. I needed an audio book so I kept listening How is Jane Hardy a police chief yet defer to Reed the documentary producer all the time? Statutory rape is poorly treated.

I am loving this book! 5 stars so far. I am reading the ARC but think this would make a fabulous audio book.

I graduated high school in 1986 so many of the 1980s references really crack me up.

A lot of characters but the author develops them so well. The Claw may be one of my favorite characters of all time. I keep highlighting different descriptions of the Claw.

I received an advanced readers copy of the second Brightside book so I decided to read (listen to) the first one. I stopped at about 40% of the way thru.

The main character Joe is truly unlikeble. Not sure why he has to hate women so much and only think horrible misogynistic dark sex thoughts every time he sees a woman.

3.5 stars. Was disappointed in the heavy misogynistic descriptions of women in the beginning of the book.
