This is giving book 2 syndrome. So slow, and boring, and I feel ch 16 was thrown in there because the editor said "this book is too boring, you gotta spice it up" and the author took it literally, throwing it in there when, really, it shouldn't have been a risk to take when they don't trust her... and a gross misuse of resources. Look, I'm taking this seriously, because the book is taking everything else seriously.

This is probably already 5 stars for me, and I'm not even done.

Warner and Juilette sure do think a lot about their lack of communicating with each other but never actually do any communicating. They even think 'maybe we should communicate this' but it still never happens. I feel like a lot of problems would be solved if they just stopped thinking about telling the other person all. these. important. things. and just did it. Hmm?

I love the first three books annnnnnnd so far book 4 feels like it was written by a different person. (Not in a good way).

up to 3rd chapter, and I'm hooked so far, hoping to break out of this DNF rut.

It was going really well, the story a little different, then bam! instana-love. I knew the romance was coming, but it came a little too fast for me. I hate you, you hate me, I really hate you, you really hate me, oh nevermind I loooove you, and whoa, you live me too. ?? I think it could have been a bit smoother or just get rid of the "mortal enemy hate".

I haven't even finished it and I'm giving it 5 stars. I love this book so much; Yancey would have to do something crazy or end the book with a "just kidding it's a dream" for me to take back my 5 stars.

so far, it's kind of eh? The main female character is a little empty and shallow but I can see there's room for her to grow. The main potential love interest is coming off creepy and scummy not hot and dangerous which is what I think the author was wanting. I'm waiting for it to pick up, and clear away some of the confusion.
