I can't believe he would make me read this McAfee satire. It was bad enough reading the Wired article that chapter was based on.

I finally started this, despite the author gifting me a copy back in.... October? I'm sorry 😖

There are only 50 pages left (the rest is appendices, acknowledgements, etc.). I feel like I'm about to be emotionally destroyed 🙃

Ah 😌 a massive "read" dump. You're welcome, friends 🥴

(Really, this dump is because I think the star rating on Goodreads affects my enjoyment on the book, and I spent hours making an ✨a e s t h e t i c✨ and tailored book database and page in my Notion that I get more joy out of using. But now I realize that I hate waiting so long to add my reads, so I'll try to update after I finish every book now.)

I'm, like, kinda reading books again? One silver lining in self-isolation. So my goal is: try to finish these books that I've had on this Currently Reading list for years (at least four, in some books' cases...).

It's like, just hurry up and get to the point, good lord.

Reading this sequel because I (1) own it, and (2) can be done with this dude.

I brought this back to the library because I just wasn't reading it (plus, it had been like 2 months overdue). I'll finish it eventually, I suppose.

I'm a bad library user. This is overdue and I'm too lazy to walk 4 blocks, so I'm just going to keep it until I finish it #oop

I need to get my ass in gear. I'm falling behind on my reading goal, and I always like to surpass it, so I'm very behind.

If I'm not outright crying at every story, I'm at least tearing up like crazy.
