Argh! I have been really enjoying this series, but I've been reading for the romantic arc rather than the mystery plots and all the suspense has vanished from the romance side of things. Definitely want to finish it at some point but finding it hard to pick up again.

Apparently the MMC sexually harassing the FMC at work is a problematic step too far for me. Now off to find a nice wholesome kidnapping book 🤣

I pre-ordered this based on early reviews but not sure I will end up finishing it. Not hitting the mark for me.

This book is a) great, b) heavy... hence my slow progress!

This anthology is working just as intended - I read the first book in it, and have immediately run off and started devouring the rest of Helen Harper's series! I'm sure I'll make it back to the anthology eventually, but it may have to wait a while...

Raced through books 1 and 2... and hit a wall early on in this one. I guess I just... don't like... people being underground? Will overcome superterranean prejudice and get back into it this weekend, I think.

A fun read so far - serial-killer mystery in an alternate London where humans live side-by-side with full-blooded Fae, and the halfbloods struggle underneath.

That moment when even though you KNOW the book is set post-apoc, you were really, really getting into the early-apoc scene-setting ... sigh!

A reread - I wish GoodReads had a function to register rereads properly. Nevertheless; book remains excellent, no matter how many times I read it.

A fun story - but so far not a fun read, due to crippling formatting issues. Finishing a chapter and swiping to the next page brings me back to the start of the chapter I just read; even when I navigate to the TOC to access the next chapter, half the time it prompts a pop-up asking if I've enjoyed my free sample and would like to buy the full book. Um, pretty sure I bought it already, thanks.
