Willoughby’s such an asshole.

All these people see each other constantly, I would hate to be them. No time for hobbies, just hanging out with people you don’t like.

How is this considered “romantasy” when there’s been no actual sex at all? The closest it’s come is rape, which I do not consider romantic or erotic in the slightest. Did the publishing company read the wrong book? It does this book a disservice.

I’ve never looked at a dick and thought it looked like a seahorse before.

I’m glad I read the sequels right before this because it mentions them a lot, but I also just wish the sequels never existed.

Tartarus is awfully Gorgoroth coded.

It’s interesting to see what aliens have been named (Gammoreans, Weequays) and which haven’t (Quarrens, Twi’leks).

The whole Clarisse thing just Achilles going on his little rampage. Cute, but also like get your own story. And it’s not even gay!

I do wish they had done more to establish the side characters in the other books. A few have been mentioned before but like. Why should I care that Beckendorf is dead?

I wish Apollo was real, I’ve had a crush on him as long as I’ve been reading these books. Though, being a Huntress sounds pretty good too. And easy enough for an ace person.

Clearly the author has read the Silmarillion. Some of the lore sounds awfully familiar…
