Tony DeHaan
Tony DeHaan is starting Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda (Simonverse, #1)
I heard about the movie, and pure by chance I picked up a copy of this book at our railway station. Is it groundbreaking? Not really. Is it original? Not really. Is there anything new? Not really. It was, however, a surprise to finally discover who "Blue" was.
This is a perfect lazy-Sunday-afternoon-feel-good-book, and when you finish it you think: "life's good".

Tony DeHaan is finished with Rivers of London (Rivers of London, #1)
It's a nice enough story, it has some nice ideas, nicely written, this solid police investigation where the witness is a ghost and there's a nest of vampires to deal with. Problem is, I haven't been able to identify myself with a single one of all the characters. In fact, I've already forgotten what the book was all about...

Tony DeHaan is finished with The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue (Montague Siblings, #1)
The spoiled and rather selfish young Henry "Monty" Montague, freshly kicked out of Eton, embarks on a Grand Tour of Europe with his sister and sort-of-boyfriend Percy. In Versailles Monty steals a seemingly innocent trinket, but it holds the key to a dark secret... They are being ambushed by highwaymen, captured by pirates, and being hunted by the powerful Bourbon family. Easy to read, but very enjoyable!

Tony DeHaan is finished with Death in Spring
The story of a teenage boy growing up in a remote village in Catalan, trying to become a man. It reads like one continuous dream sequence instead of a "proper" novel, and once you start reading, you're hooked!
