hit character limit but have more to say I think this could’ve been smth great if the author just galaxybrained real quick and committed to the bit. the exploration of vamp anthropology is lowkey interesting (aka it’s noticeably different from most vampire-centric stories in media like twilight on) but the couple is just nothing new at all & are moving 2 fast (makes no sense for the MCs’ personalities)

I guess my gripe is if ur woke enough to talk about how opium dens preyed on the marginalized (mostly black and brown) members of society (guys im not screwing around this is lifted from the book) then why would u write ur mmc and fmc with the same cookie-cutter dynamic as any one of the cartoon cover romances of the last 5-8 years?? like let’s go the whole 9 yards we are so close why is he growling again!!!
