Autumn is on page 129 of 334 of Ritual in Early Modern Europe (New Approaches to European History, Series Number 33)
Reading this one slowly and thoroughly. It's a treasure trove of information I could have used six months ago! I can't wait to incorporate some of the material on gender and ritual into my own analysis.

Autumn is on page 102 of 291 of Death Comes to Pemberley
I am at a complete loss trying to understand why this book has been rated so highly. James has done nothing but deliver wooden characters and entire passages of text cribbed from the original P&P. I'm having a hell of a time trying to force myself on and will probably give it up now.

For once I cannot make myself finish a Trollope novel.

Autumn is reading The Happiness Hypothesis: Finding Modern Truth in Ancient Wisdom
This is great so far. Though the title and premise sound a bit cheesy, the book and the research behind it are compelling.

Autumn is on page 77 of 224 of One Day and One Amazing Morning on Orange Street
Wow! This book is turning out to be wonderful! A student recommended it to me and I began it somewhat reluctantly however the thoughtful characters and concise yet poetic writing have captured me!

This one has been reaaaaallly hard to get into. I'm going to give it another two chapters and ditch it if it doesn't improve.

Autumn is 52% done with North of the DMZ: Essays on Daily Life in North Korea
This book is a bit difficult to get through as there are many typos and the writing leaves much to be desired. However, I'm pressing on as I'm a bit obsessed with N. Korea and love to read just about anything about that country!
