In Memoriam by Alice Winn is one of my favorite books ever so I was SO excited to be approved for this arc!!

i'm so excited to read this but also i have been putting it off to play the sims instead....

I'm enjoying this but also trying to spread it out because my copy of book 2 doesn't come in until Friday... :/

Reading this on my kindle but I want the physical copy so badly

“You almost got dead last night”

I don’t think that sentence is remotely grammatically correct…. What??????

Why are books published in the uk so physically hard to read… they’re just so stiff

Anyway this is good but also I’m a little bored

Audiobook is good but I fear I’m losing steam with this plot…

Only took a year for me to actually read this…

I haven’t read the OG trilogy since like 5th grade and yet everything that happened is ingrained in my brain… enjoying the direction this is taking so far

LOVEEE the audiobook for this, the narrator is so posh and I think it should be the preferred way to absorb this novel

This is so good

Has it seriously been two years since I read this?

I want to finally continue this series but I forgot everything that happened except for the bare minimum. Gonna get through this so I can get to PEAK words of radiance aka the best book to ever exist

It’s hard to remember they’re just children in this book UGH

We got in a physical copy like 2 weeks early so I have the finished copy already :-)

This is fine so far, the writing is a little choppy but I’m enjoying it.

Netgalley might have denied me but edelweiss has never done me wrong (I’m so excited for this)

Haven’t touched this in like a week bc i listen to the audiobook in the car but haven’t had a nice long car drive in 4ever

It’s so cruel that I have to work instead of reading this

So the plot is that the bad guys want to “recreate the Roman Empire” and install a Caesar… right. The guy who lived in the REPUBLIC, and got himself murdered. The better analogy would be… idk…. Augustus???? But okay

Such a goofy title & horrible cover but I am eating this upppp… I love Ilona Andrew’s writing style & am very intrigued in the plot

Reading this Roman Empire - inspired book as someone who has a history degree & studied the Roman’s… why do I do this to myself. I’m already annoyed at the two random NPC characters being named after Roman emperors 🙄

Really wish the cover was updated bc it’s so cute

Loving the audiobook narrator

???????????????????????????

Saw one glowing review (thank you, Snow) and decided I immediately needing to pick up my ARC and I’m eating this UP…
