So the plot is that the bad guys want to “recreate the Roman Empire” and install a Caesar… right. The guy who lived in the REPUBLIC, and got himself murdered. The better analogy would be… idk…. Augustus???? But okay

Such a goofy title & horrible cover but I am eating this upppp… I love Ilona Andrew’s writing style & am very intrigued in the plot

Reading this Roman Empire - inspired book as someone who has a history degree & studied the Roman’s… why do I do this to myself. I’m already annoyed at the two random NPC characters being named after Roman emperors 🙄
