I’ve been wanting to read this since I first heard the gals at Fated Mates rave (and joke) about it. Finally diving in!

I'm not loving this. There's no real tension, real drama other than she might get caught viewing a fight (her family doesn't care) and he's the fighter (guess what...). I'm just not getting the tension, the push and pull, the second to third act here.

I'm only 8% in and am in danger of highlighting the entire text. This. Is. Good.

Whoa, Sarah, your piece was worth the price of admission alone! I love how Sarah Maclean says "Hey I wrote a contemporary" yet it's still about a Duke. Well, we all love a Duke, don't we?

I can't keep the sisters straight. I'm not sure if I like the bouncing around in time aspect of this book. But I do love the Handh so far.

I've read this but didn't log it on my GR list. Only reading this again to get to Lord of Scoundrels but already am like, oh my, this crazy wacky romance book it over the top and just exactly my jam

Ugh. This is just painful. The writing is so bad. The dialogue is worse. The characters are all just stupid and barely fleshed out. Everything is so cliche. How did this get such good reviews?

Only 3% in and it's not looking good. The writing is...uneven to say the least. I'll see how much farther I can get.

GOOD GOD why isn't this over yet? Harrison and Mary Rose are both completely insufferable. Harrison. GOOD GOD why is he such a douche bag? His alpha game is week and Mary Rose is just plain TSTL. Why all the 5 stars? WHYYYYY? I'll finish this, because at this point, what the AF, but for now, I'm going to bed.
