I’m crying this is so heart breaking

Will there be any commentary on why she only chose white lovers?

Feels disingenuous to not discuss if people cared she married a white man and any speculation of why they married. Was he gay too? Was this a lavender marriage? Also what were the races of Lorraine lovers o think this is necessary …seems they were all white but author is deliberately not saying so

Really Tiffany ? Black students are in need of a white savior and the only black student who isn’t brains washed previously occupied only white spaces ? I’m ready to DNF!

This book is so frustrating…

YOU CANNOT SHAPE GOD!! this earth sees mess is blasphemy and im tired of hearing about it

I do not like this earth seed discourse. It’s too much and takes away from the story

Did a man ghost write this? 🥹Why is the only positive thing Josiah has to say about his ex wife constantly is how round her hips are and how big her breasts are but what’s hilarious is it’s made clear how flat her stomach remained. Is she a human woman 😂🤣😂😂😂I really cannot stress enough how much I despise Josiah and this book . I’m really close to DNFing

Some1 called me a popular book hater and well…yeah cuz this book is annoying . The author keeps trying to shove down our throats how “fine” Josiah is like he isnt messy . Vashti isn’t to blame at all! , the daughter needs to be 2 pieced in her mouth and I am TIRED of wading through the field of the main characters feelings like can we have some plot now? 2 1/2 hours of the same ol thing. where’s the action?

Correction I definitely cannot STANDDDDDDDD JOSIAH. So selfish and cruel …. Right from the gate concerning this Vashti situation . I hate the male characters who think they’re a good guy but in reality aren’t . I’d rather them just to be horrible and know it and I see right now Josiah thinks he’s a good guy

INAPPROPRIATE-……ugh and just when I thought I could like Josiah . He had to know this would bother her -and in HER HOUSE 🥹

Weekly overview questions were a bit overwhelming and kinda weirdly worded

A 3 hour book taking me more than a week….i just don’t get why romantic comedies copy each other so much. It’s frustrating …BE ORIGINAL puh- leaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee. it’s also kinda filthy that single women hood is often reduced to random sex partners as a sign of freedom . Like hello ?..some people want to be properly courted ugh I’m so tired of the Carrie Bradshaw screw up main characters .

Millie you are an I D I O T!! Crazy people are highly intelligent and observant - they notice/keep watch over things other people wouldnt notice .Now i can’t blame Nina in regards to her shenanigans - some would argue they are deserving - this actually reminds me of LUSTER …I also have a feeling this may be a sick game Andrew and Nina play

Family group chat is like wtf lmao this was a good pick this month for the family book club - THIS LADY IS INSANE and yet I get why sis stays

Be a damsel lol they always get the man lol I feel a little bit sorry for Wendy that opportunist worked hard and she has no idea she was working hard for someone else smh

It’s not funny but papa is RIDICULOUS 😂😂😂 this audio is SPOT ON 😂🤣

Ehhhh no…this romance isn’t it lol I noticed this is the one thing I can’t tolerate from TDJ -the like girl I’m not buying into this 😂😂

No KENDRICK (but your “friends” call you Kenny) you go OUT OF YOUR WAY TO DENY YOUR BLACKNESS AND SUBDUE IT around your white friends (therefore becoming a shell of yourself) THAT is the issue at hand . Callie may be ignorant of maddies story but she clocked your tea ! You let your white friends treat you like a zoo animal but avoid anything obviously black even if you align with it . That is the issue .
