OH MY GOD????

Omg. Y’all. This book is. So. Cool.
I’m so glad it’s long because I don’t want it to be over yet! To me, the horror elements are not the type to give you nightmares, it’s more the kind that makes you go “whoaaaa okay that’s wild!” I wish I could be more descriptive without spoiling. But I honestly feel like this is going to be my favorite book this year.

Had a sudden need for a medieval quest but didn’t want a heavy fantasy/world building and this is hitting the spot! This *is* billed as a horror novel, which I have no problem with. So far the elements I’ve seen have been along similar lines as Frankenstein, but I’ll update if the horror ramps up as the story goes along.

I have zero guesses at this point and I love it. At first I expected the whole book was going to take place over a day or just a few days, but I am enjoying the time jump and the hurdles the characters face because of time having passed. Very excited to see how this goes. I want to finish it tonight but I’m sick so I might have to wait until tomorrow.

This is so fascinating and I was sad to stop reading to go to bed last night. I hope this book stays as good as it is right now. Currently a 5 ⭐️ for me. My theories have come up but nothing has been confirmed one way or another about any of them.

Lesbian mystery enemies to lovers!!!!!! I have been waiting to read this for yearssss. So glad I finally got my hands on it. Enjoying it a lot so far and I have a couple theories about both mysteries but they don’t fit exactly right. I wish I could spoiler mark part of this because I have a small critique currently but we’ll see how I feel at the end of the story.

I’m intrigued, much like I was with the first book. I hope this ending is better. But I’m also annoyed that a character who asked to be called by a preferred name at first meeting has been called by their given name ever since. Preferred name hasn’t been used one time.

Forgot that I gave the first one a one star review, we’ll see if I like this one better!

Listened off and on all day and didn’t realize I was almost done. Intend on finishing tonight :)
Haven’t seen the movie yet. I have a guess about how it ends but there’s time for something unexpected to happen!

In a positive comparison, I’m wondering if Suzanne Collins was in any way inspired by this story for some of the vibe of the Hunger Games. I am enjoying it a lot so far, very curious to see how the book continues to unfurl.

My audiobook does have a weird editing where at the end of some sentences, part of the last word gets cut off. But it’s not enough to detract from the reading experience.

My prediction is allegedly the wrong answer at this point according to the book, and I have no other ideas really. Trying to put other characters as the answer doesn’t make sense. But still a good bit to go so hopefully it’s a fun and surprising ending.

I hope I’m wrong but I feel like I’ve guessed too much already.
