This isn't my usual read, but I really love the descriptive style of writing. Good so far.

Brilliant so far, interesting and entertaining look at race and women from different perspectives/generations. Absolutelty love the writing style.

This is already facinating. I love learning about how your hallucinations can be influenced by images you study often (like musical scores for pianists) and how these visions are hailed as special in a lot of cultures.

Wooooow. I've never read so quickly. This is gripping and so well written. If you haven't read this you should do so immediately.

Once I got used to the childish narrative voice, I really started enjoying this. The main character has a strange and interesting personality.

The author has book smarts, but his approach to life is wildly childish in his pursuit for pure, selfish happiness. Interesting and entertaining so far.

I feel like this is written a little childishly, but I suppose it is aimed at a younger audience, I'm enjoying it none the less.

A lot of overused/cliche adjectives, but they aren't spoiling the book for me. creepy and a little dark so far.

I'm close to the end, so much has happened and I can't make sense of most of it.

I stopped reading this for a while, not because I'm not enjoying it, I just haven't had a lot of reading time

Better and different than I expected, both are good things.

wooooow this is intense, that's what I get for knowing nothing about a book before reading it, dark and interesting so far, not Rice's usual writing style.

Strange, mysterious and slightly magical. definitely my kind of book.

Good so far, not my usual kind of book but the plot is good. Beautiful descriptions. A lot of sexist stereotypes, but I suppose the story is set in the 1920's so that's to be expected.

This was so much better than I thought it would be! Loving it so far.

Just as amazing as I this is one of the books in my childhood that made me want to write.

A lot of this relys on miscommunication, this time around I can really pin point where the prejudice/pride is and in which characters.

I forgot how in depth this book is, I dislike Darcy far less than when I read this 9 years ago. I understand his character much more now, he was raised to be proud and judgemental, its not entirely his fault he's such a dick.

This is great so far, adult themes told in a very modern way, simple but graphic illustrations. Love.

a bit more sense to the madness now, still very disjointed in plot, although hard to read its an enjoyable hardness.

This has no real plot, a little hard to follow and because its based on drug abuse I'm not sure what is real and what is made up

This is a strange one, loving it so far.
