I love this book so much, even though I have only cracked the surface. Fr. Faber wastes no time in opening up deep spiritual truths to my finite mind while simultaneously blowing it! 🤯 It’s like contemplation in warp speed. 🌌 Seems like an excellent preparation for Christmas and I’m sure I’ll be it for many Christmases to come because it is just that rich! 🥰

Almost at the end of this incredible book and I want to hurry up and finish it just to start it all over again! God is everything. We can do nothing without Him. Have courage to surrender. Have courage to be afraid so His mercy can take care of you.

Goodreads says I’m finished with this book, but I’m not. 😅 About halfway through and really appreciating the concise yet captivating history of the first California missions in light of the beautiful statue of Our Lady of Bethlehem. 🥰

I’m looking for a book but I don’t know who the author was or what the title is. 🙈 It has a somewhat famous image of Mary on half of the cover… it was about perfection or something like that… Praying it’s meant to be that I find it! 🥲🙏🏻

So far a nice compilation of delightful and interesting stories of the missions! I’m reading it to better know how to present California mission history to my students! 👩🏽‍🏫

Wow! Just wow! It’s like watching The Chosen (I do not support that show) except it’s waaaaay better because it’s real revelations of a Blessed!

Not reading this every day but a couple times a week skipping ahead to the proper day. Always great meditations. Can’t believe Lent is almost over.
