After seeing the movie “Sacred Heart: His Reign Has no End” I was very curious about the life of St. Margaret Mary. This book is way better than the movie.

With Amazon no longer supporting old Kindles from before 2013, I have decided to stockpile my Kindle Keyboard with numerous Public Domain classics from Montgomery, Alcott, and Margaret Sydney. <3

I’ve had this on my TBR and wanted to read it for soooo long. I was incredibly blessed by some friends who gifted me a copy this week after Mass! Who knew I was going to learn about St. Clare and the Franciscans too?! 🤎

Trying to brush up!

I’m only supposed to read 8 pages a day to finish by the end of Lent, but I couldn’t put it down for the first part about the life of Anne Catherine.

A captivating and inspiring read.

I am now a devoted fan of the von Trapp family and want to know all I can about their music, family, and legacy. This book has been so delightful from start to finish. I really don't want it to end, but I know I'm very near. What an incredible family and testament to faith, hard work, and perseverance!

This book reads like butter… 🧈 I mean it’s such an easy, delightful read. I can’t put it down. I laughed out loud at the Captain’s proposal! 😂

I love this book so much, even though I have only cracked the surface. Fr. Faber wastes no time in opening up deep spiritual truths to my finite mind while simultaneously blowing it! 🤯 It’s like contemplation in warp speed. 🌌 Seems like an excellent preparation for Christmas and I’m sure I’ll be it for many Christmases to come because it is just that rich! 🥰

Almost at the end of this incredible book and I want to hurry up and finish it just to start it all over again! God is everything. We can do nothing without Him. Have courage to surrender. Have courage to be afraid so His mercy can take care of you.

So many books started… so little time. 🥲🤓

Goodreads says I’m finished with this book, but I’m not. 😅 About halfway through and really appreciating the concise yet captivating history of the first California missions in light of the beautiful statue of Our Lady of Bethlehem. 🥰
