papasteve is starting Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass, #2)

The cover of this book shows a badass, sword swinging assassin. But so far she’s a snotty brat, who doesn’t seem like the same person who came out of the salt mine, or had been, supposedly, dispatching people from a very young age. This is turning out to be more of a romance novel/series than a fantasy series. I got half way through this book but quit. At my age, there are too many books and too little time
