Carol is 60% done with The Mountains Wild (Maggie D'arcy #1)

The story line has a lot of potential, but the book is so slow moving that I was not able to finish it within my library checkout allowance. Back on the hold list I go. I’ll try and finish the book once it’s my turn again. I prefer books that move the plot along at a faster pace. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Honestly, a third of the way in, I wasn’t sure if I would like this book. Now that I am finished and understand the message behind the book, I am SO glad I stayed with it. Well worth reading!
