Waiting on Part 2 Dramatized Audiobook

I really like this series but I really dislike this book...like alot!!!

End of Chapter 81 - I do believe in redemption, but Lysandra/Aiden forgiveness arc is a no for me...you cant treat someone like that and still end up with the girl. Think this will be a plot point you will always be a flip of the coin with. Do you prefer a strong woman standing up for herself plot more than a redemption of a conflicted in love male more? Also, why am I in tears when the 13 show up???

I am really trying, but I'm not a fan of Delora. I understand setting boundaries after a more trauma filled relationship, but I'm a fan of treating people how they treat you, and she is often mean to my mavka and not a fan.

Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I don't really care about these characters or really what happens to this realm. First off, they didn't decide to train the "hope of the realm" until 81% in, which make absolutely no sense.

I started this book in March, and it has been a struggle to get through it. I picked it up because you know #bookstagram, but I just can't get into these characters at all. I just don't care either way. I LOVE a good unstable FMC but Seraphine just annoys me and I honestly can't understand why because she is my go to type of crazy. Someone tell me it gets better!!

I think I know why this is bothering me. Her incident happened when she was like 12/13 yrs old & its set in the present date so unless the incident resulted in regression, she shouldnt be so immature in certain areas & then Im supposed to be okay with these men in their 30s wanting her. Her personality is more like a stunted 7/8 yr old. Things like hokey pokey, ouchy, & other things nothing a 2010ish 12/13 would say.

I really hope this gets better. I understand unhinged with a heaping dose of being young with PTSD with a hint of insanity, but Brooklyn isn't it for me as of yet, and it's sad bc I love these authors. Add the repetitive nature of information and I'm struggling.

Still fairly annoyed...but not going to stop the progress.

I have a couple of issues with the book but don't know why this bothers me the most: you tell me Violence is this intelligent, always thinking on her feet, prior prodigy scribe, and she misses the simplest part of the translation to make the ward work, instead of making me want to hit her more, why not leave it out and continue with your timely interruptions/attacks that happen every 10 minutes?

Starting to really think some authors dont really know what bad girl means anymore. This book is shopped as "good girl is really a bad girl in disguise." Yet nothing indicates this...I dont care how much I like someone, they steal me from my life I worked hard for...not laying my head on their shoulder will riding in the car, not interlocking fingers, and not clinging into their arm...I hope this gets better

Lots of repetition...yes we know she is curvy, yes we know the pack shares, yes its okay for male characters to call every other female characters b*tches...I feel like the author wrote this book with a lot of dislike towards skinny girls lol
Also, if she is so blunt and full of questions any other time, how come she can't ask "why can't I go?" A little annoying

I don't know mind a slow burn and super virginal FMC, so not bad so far, but I'm not for is a RH where only one of the guys is a mate..either they all are or there aren't & just in love. I have strong feelings about mate bonds 😆 also you can have an interesting world and allow your FMC to be sweet abd nice without ALL the other girls being petty as b*tches..jeez let's do better

I tried. I really did...DNF @ 55%...I just can't with Poppy. I think it ultimately comes down to, I don't like that much miscommunication and naivety in relationships, and that's all there is here. Poppy can ask 99 stupid questions, and the one that matters most, she is like nevermind...I just can't!! I rarely DNF bc it makes me feel like a failure but oh well.

I'm almost to the point of DNF....
The repetition is killing me...
Traveling...dampness...pointless internal monologs...naive thinking.. naive observation...
I get that she was sheltered but no one is that dumb...the only time she is strong is if she has a weapon in her hand....ugggghhh

End of book 1...still have to get through 1.5 but WHY LUCY???? Why did you do me like that??? You rained on my dreams of this harems structure....I was so excited and you stabbed me right through it

That whole chapter 15 scene with Laura and Ares got on my last nerves....this book so far has been grating on my nerves with her whiney and insecure personality it's starting to be too much...this series and slowly started to go downhill and it had so much potential to be great

I am alittle over half way through and even though it's a little bit long winded for me this man, this author, has managed to rip, I repeat RIP my HEART out so many times...he has basically torn everything down and honestly I can't tell yet if it for an epic comeback or he decided to just leave his readers just brokenhearted and torn to shreds 😭🤬

Why I did it to myself AGAIN, this series is so damn annoying but the author knows how to leave you on a cliffhanger so you will read the next book & within the first pages you want to b*tch slap MK bc they have completely straight lied & committed one heinous act that any woman in her right mind wouldn't forgive and she is all they are hot I'll act like I'm mad while I ride you, ugh trainwreck you cant stop watching

If I didn't pay for this audio I would DNF this book. This main character is so damn annoying and honestly stupid as hell...if it wasn't for 7th Circle I dont think I would read this author again if this is how she writes her female characters.

Thanks to the first half of this book, I stayed up until midnight and slept through my alarm...had to force myself to put it down...

But right now seriously my only question is what type of car does she drive? lol Seriously Madam Walker I need to know and don't know why it is bothering me :)
