I loved it for about ten pages. Then I kept going for about a third of the book until I gave up and DNF. Is there a such thing as too much description? Because this has it in spades. I felt like the author sacrificed storytelling for the sake of describing the Wilderwood, which left me with more questions than answers while at the same time making me care less and less. It just wasn’t for me.
