It's becoming a bit too slow for my liking. Beverly Jenkins' greatest feature (her ability to write about a town and make it lively) is also kind of her greatest flaw (because I love how she builds it but this time i was looking for a more straightforward romance if that makes sense)

Es tenebrosa y perturbadora de una forma que me produce incluso incomodidad. Solà es brutal, no tiene un ápice de piedad a la vez que mantiene una voz poética resonante. Me encanta en especial el detalle de cómo Joana y Margarida ven el mundo moderno, por ejemplo refiriéndose al teléfono móvil como un "espejo". Además la narradora del audiolibro hace un muy buen trabajo

Creo que libros como este que práctica no tienen trama no deberían tener una contraportada/sinopsis como esta porque literalmente te cuenta lo poquito de trama que hay entera lol

I'm enjoying this so far. The art is great and the writing is nice. Not a big fan of the Knight Terrors sections, since they don't really add to the story and in the case of the Siniestro one everything felt too vague for a brand new reader like me.

Guys I'm not sure I can make it. Why are they circling around this. We know they'll end up together so do it already 😭

I think my problem with this book is that I found it intriguing at first, and I think it's well written but at the end of the day I just think the extremely classic-nosferatu type of vampires gimmick is a bit silly. IDK. Maybe I just got culturally desensitized about vampires in general at some point

Me sorprendía lo relativamente contenta que está la gente en este pueblo (hasta que empiezan a pasar cosas, claro). Por ahora me está gustando, aunque lo que me ha parecido más horripilante es una escena con una madre demasiado joven y un bebé. No pasa nada sobrenatural y por eso me ha parecido tan terrible.
