First re-read, buddy read

This book is the inanimate embodiment of depression and is a little too effective.

40% impressions:

Book started fairly weak. My first impression was the author really liked using a thesaurus. Also I had my concerns about Christian Fantasy, as Christian media has a tendency to be preachy (you know, the whole "convert the masses" thing...). However, the book has started to grow on me. I'm rather enjoying the main character, although he is a bit of a Mary Sue.

I've been reading an Alastair Reynolds short story in between each book I've read since last April. I decided to finally put it on my goodreads. Maybe I'll be done in 2021!
