Re-reading this series

It's just lost some of the magic of the previous books. It gets kinda hard to keep reading it, and seems to be really slow.

Started this last night, and it's not really any better then the last book.

I like the book and the premise, but I'm feeling like the main character should have been male. Men writing a female character never quite seem to get it right, and she's just not emotional, upset, or even paranoid enough to be a fleshed out woman. Most women would have been a lot more upset about the loss of a boyfriend, the child in the apartment. She just seems very much like she should have been a he..

Interesting story, the writing is pretty decent so far. Almost feels as if the author is putting every single prediction about 2012 and bad thing that could happen to our planet into one uber disaster. Kinda makes me sad that it seems like no one outside of a shelter is really going to have a shot. I'll see how it continues.

The plot is getting very complex, I'm getting a little worried about the ending and how well it's going to play out. Books this complex with so many elements sometimes come together perfectly, and sometimes seem thrown without any sense. I'm hoping this will be the former.

Slow, but seems to be picking up a bit. I want more supernatural elements, but since it's a trilogy I guess it might take awhile for it to really find it's feet.

Pretty good so far, certainly unique for the genre.

The murder plot is all coming together, and the book is staying mildly entertaining.

The murder mystery of her father is saving the book a bit, since it's slightly interesting. Nora is also managing to stay away from Patch, which while seems silly is actually kinda nice since he's such an ***.

I really didn't like the first book, but this one really takes the cake. So far the main male character is really not likable, and the female is foolish for feeling for him. I'm into bad boys in stories as much as the next girl, but this boy treats her horribly!

I'm not understanding why I'm not able to update my pages on this book. It's a paperback, and that's the version I selected, but I'm supposed to put a percent.

Haven't read this since I was a teenager, so when I saw it on a clearance shelf, I just had to buy it and reread the story.

I have such high hopes for this book just starting it. I've heard nothing but great things about it, and I'm really hoping it doesn't disappoint me.

It's better then the second, I'll give it that much. Not exactly good, but better.

So boring! This sort of immortal life doesn't even sound very interesting. You get everything you want without even having to work for it. The explanations about Summerland are somewhat interesting, but not quite as good as I was expecting. The whole book is just very very petty and boring. I'm trying to read it quick so I can be done with it.

I thought I had already read this, but I guess I was so bored with the first one, I just threw it on my shelf and convinced I did. After starting the 3rd, I realized I was completely lost and that I hadn't read the 2nd. So far.. so boring. I'm starting to remember why I wasn't worried about keeping up with the series.
