36 hours of audiobook and we didn’t have enough time for good world building??? a few things have become immediately clear:
1. this is a Harry Potter au
2. this is not a very good Harry Potter au
3. author doesn’t know how to introduce concepts without info dumping like crazy
4. and yet somehow SOMEHOW you get the sense that you should come into this books and world with prior information
