Halfway through and really liking it. Easy to read a few pages at a time- each one describing the creative process and daily habits of various artists. Everyone from Gertrude Stein to Chopin as well as modern day authors and artists.

I hope that anyone who cares about animals will pick up this book and learn where food really comes from. Halfway through and this content only serves to reinforce my beliefs that the meat industry isn’t good for anyone involved in it.

Enjoyed some of this but ultimately stopped reading it because it kept taking detours that I wasn’t interested in.

A wonderful look into a immigrants life- well told simply but descriptively. I loved it.
