No Jude or Cardan cameo so far but I am gonna keep on keeping on. Also it's cool to see Jude's influence on Oak and how he's kinda strategic and smart like her and so good at sword fights too.

So far I love all the characters except the protagonist. Some of the characters are purely good, some morally grey, some grey tending to black- I think this book greatly improved my opinion of Mr. Dickens' character writing game. After I am done with this one, I'll try revisiting David Copperfield and Oliver Twist. I read those two at a really young age and maybe failed to appreciate them well enough.

Gotta make good use of that audible free trial before it expires.
