These short synopses into organisms and non-living features of Washington State are amazing insights into the functions of each topic. I love reading these either in their entirety or just picking out a few facts for the kids I teach to get new appreciation for some of the more 'over-looked' creatures of this state.

I really loved the insight of this book, but left it on a plane so never got to finish it!
